nope, just that zidlicky would agree to waive his NTC to nj, apparently he hasnt even been approached about a trade and the wild may not even shop him till the summer

I'm on the fence about Zidlicky unless it means Tallinder is going back the other way and/or it means the end of Fayne on the roster. Fayne is a piece of sh*t every time he touches the puck.

yea... wow... Buffalo had the worst possible game plan in place....
lets not cover or play defense against any of their best players... put them on the power play as much as possible.. and then hang Miller out to dry...

Uncle Lou had a history with the Wild when they got Zyuzin (bad experience).
I kind of like this deal depending which piece we remove from the D.
Fayne would be my first choice and having Larsson in and out for the time being.
Uncle Lou likes veteran presence in the blue line come playoff time.

and that you guys were supposed to make the playoffs easily

Wow.. I was actually playing nice and paying my dues to the loss that we got last night... but you are just your regular d-bag self...
Just so you know.. When Kovy scored his goals... Myers took out the passer and pominville had Kovy on the middle ice mid air goal.. so not really Myers fault there... and Ehrhoff was on the ice with Leopold for the empty netter and leopold had the turnover.. ehrhoff was up the ice..
And Also... Neither Myers nor Ehrhoff were on the ice for either of the PP goals given up...
Kovy beat Pominville for the one in the middle of the ice..
and Leopold is to blame for the empty netter.. and Leopold is also to blame for the 1st goal..

Just so you know.. When Kovy scored his goals... Myers and Ehrhoff were only on the ice for the wrister of Kovy's which is actually Miller's fault... neither of them were blocking out Kovy.

your the one who was saying ehrhoff is better than volchenkov.......
idk how you could blame miller for kovy's wrister which was the 1st goal, had to go side to side on some nice passing from elias to kovy to elias and back to kovy
your captain got beat, bad on kovy's second goal kinda showing who wanted it more, he didnt get his stick tangled up or make a stick play, he didnt skate back fast enough but he also had to protect the backside where parise was
cant really blame anyone for the empty netter
i did watch the game, i watch every devils games, and other games too

The smart thing would be to put double coverage on Kovy the scoring machine!
Lou is only going for Zidlicky if he can get him for a steal. This trade, if it happens, will be a steal. From the sounds of it, Minnesota Wild fans aren't too thrilled with him or his $4 million contract. Tedenby is not going to be the piece that Lou moves, probably an insignificant prospect or two, maybe some low-end draft picks. It's obvious Tallinder's going to be out for a while; a blood clot is not something that just disappears, it can end up being something pretty serious.
So, I think the Wild are just responding to the fans and maybe trying to shed his contract for whatever they can get. Like Ponikarovsky, Bernier, etc., this Zidlicky guy must have tickled Lou's fancy into being a good piece he can fit into this team. Like Todd Cordell on Twitter, a change of scenery can sometimes work wonders. Lou knows what he's doing, and what he's getting: "In Lou We Trust."

I can blame the defense for not stopping the passing lanes right in front of the net... and it was Leopold and Regehr on the first goal..
Pominville did get beat but Kovy just made a sensational mid-air play.. not many can do that in the NHL just so you know..
And the empty netter is a joke right... you didn't see that leopold went to pass it and literally hit Parise in the middle of his chest.. parise didn't even have to move into the passing lane.. that is Leopolds fault by a land slide..
Myers and Ehrhoff were not on either PP goal either.. Leopold/Regehr was the first.. and Leopold/Sekera was the second..
The "wrister" i was saying was miller's fault is the one that Kovy got from in the faceoff circle.. its not like any passing was going on to confuse miller.. he just lost track of the puck in mid air.. that is his fault.. I don't even think he was being screened if I remember right...
kovy has really stepped up his game this year - dmarsden2988
yes he has. He is a much better player today than when he got here. This, of course, after much growing pains of course.
i still remember a penalty shot he took where the puck just bounced off his stick and he never got a shot off. That was the lowest point of him being a Devil and his career.
Id love to see him and Parise anchor the O for years to come...

that was against the Sabres last year... and it gave the Sabres the win on that missed shot...

starting at 26 secs, what midair play did kovy make on the play? i fail to see it, looks pretty normal to me and a deflection shot into the net
kovy and elias are very very good passers, nothing could really be done to stop those passes, they were perfectly placed
your telling me to watch the game? it was sykora who scored from the wrister which btw went of a defenders stick (the 2nd goal)

By the way... Your knight in shining armor..
Volchenkov is -6
Ehrhoff is -8
Myers is -9
Sabres are in 14th place and 26th in the NHL
Devils are in 6th place..
Sabres have scored 137 goals this year
Devils have scored 158 goals
Sabres are -25 in goal differential
Devils are +2
If Volchenkov is so fricking good at being a shut down defensemen why are his numbers BARELY better than Ehrhoff and Myers who are clearly on a far worse team than the Devils and can't score as much??

Can you seriously not see that the puck went off of Myers stick into the air and then Kovy batted it forward while it was still in mid-air?? How old are you? do you wear glasses??
Your right.. I did mix up Sykora's goal.. my bad.. and with it being deflected off of the defensmen's stick into the top shelf that really is a much tougher shot on Miller and almost can't blame him for that either..
